Classes
Pre-school
Our pre-school sessions are designed to engage little gymnasts in learning activities for fundamental movement skills and the foundations of gymnastics. In our Parent/guardian classes, you can assist your little ones to learn at each of the stations set out; our coaches will be there to guide you. In the independent classes, little ones enjoy their learning with a coach to guide them, whilst parents and guardians sit upstairs to watch.
Wednesday mornings
9.30 - 10.15am Adult and toddler - up to 3 years - parent/guardian assist in the session. £6.00 per session, paid in advance by half term.
10.30 - 11.15am. Independent sessions - children learn with the guidance of our coaches. £6.50 per session, paid in advance by half term.
All children participating must be registered as a member of British Gymnastics
Recreational
From primary school age to 18 year olds
We are proud to offer a recreational program with a coach to gymnast ratio of 1:6, ensuring all gymnasts receive quality coaching.
We have groups available at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels so there is something for everyone.
Our recreational classes are structured sessions working towards skills for beginner competitions and displays. These classes also work towards our own badge scheme.

Competitive
By invitation only
These sessions are for gymnasts who have been selected by our coaching team, based on their physical and psychological abilities.
The gymnasts in these groups show the potential to represent Upstarts Gymnastics at a county, regional or National level. For more information on our progression routes click here.
